ok, question to you camera savvy people out there.
i have a pentax external flash/hot shoe whatever. how the fuck do i get it to work with my canon digital rebel xti?

i need helppp.

i would probably just go to a camera store and ask them because i think there may be some special ... adapter thing. i vaguely remember running into this problem in the past and i'm pretty sure there is some stupid part you need to buy.

You have to get an adaptor, it looks something like this:

Most should run you 25-30 bucks... you could find cheaper but it'll break in two seconds. I found one for 10 bucks and I used it twice and the back piece just snapped off. It's basically designed to work like a slave flash and they run on AA batteries... so keep the batteries fresh or you'll get fucked up flash results.
