So this weekend, i didn't leave my house.. seriously. but I've been busy, all day saturday I was doing design work and then today i wrote that paper i've been putting off.

So yesterday I had a little photo shoot with my cousin Bridgette. Around the corner from her house there is a dead end street with a bunch of unkept trees behind it, i thought that would be cool to do it there. The only downside was all the bugs and it was hot as shit outside. She did really well, i remember the last time I shot her for my intro to photography class my teacher was obsessed with her. She has a good look. ANYWAY, take a look at those.

Today after school paige picked me up to go thrifting with her. We first went to the publix sabor in hialeah because she needed to do some snooping for her job. Thrifting sucked, other than making fun of the random tshirts. I didn't buy anything, it was either shit or too expensive. We ended up near sunset so she could take 3 hours to buy some brushes at her boy friends job haha.

I'd also like to gage interest on these, I plan on making a few of these but dramatically smaller, maybe 5 inches tall. for about $40 each, anyone interested?

I got a flickr which i plan on using ALOT so go ahead and add that to your favorites i guess. I don't really understand all of flickr's doodads so if someone wants to explain the whole contacts thing for me, that'd be great. I'm going to get a pro account one of these days. anyway, i was playing around with the 200mm lens. I'm in absolute awe with this camera, its such a difference from using a point and shit.. it's funny because everytime i tell i'm with it i say how awesome it is and someone always replies with, "shit $800 it better be awesome" hahaha. ( some other pictures from today )

So today was pretty much errand day, I went to go pick up my cousin again. I think its so funny that shes pregnant, I mean its such a serious situation.. I can't help but laugh. that's just the way I am. So she came over because she lives in a little studio apartment basically with her boyfriend and he was working but she had the day off. So we went to walmart, I got theeee best easter thing for my little cousins. I'll post it later in a filter since my aunt reads my lj. if you're reading this bibi, suck it.. you'll have to wait until sunday to see it!

I have to say sewing sure is relaxing. I sat most of the afternoon yesterday and this morning sewing this baby. All while watching non stop simpsons episodes off peekvid.com, which has become my biggest addiction.

I really like how he turned out, the color is ALL wrong, he's supposed to be more of a yellow green, but they didn't have any yellow green felt at walmart. so oh well, maybe another day. He's also pretty massive, i didn't intend to make him that big, he just is haha. I'm working on a little rabbit right now, thats coming out really cute. I might sew some for my cousin's easter baskets or something.

How is it 5 already? today has blown by.

I got my first credit card yesterday, it's pretty hot. $500 limit, visa platinum, and has van gogh's a starry night on it. I'm most probably going to pay for colorwares to paint my sidekick with it, i tried to get tmobile to get me a new one by telling them something was wrong with it, but they only offered to repair it. the only thing thats wrong with it is purely cosmetic.

I cut my hair today myself, cut off a lot. I like freaked for a second because i cut the back to short i felt, but it wasn't. This weekend I'm going to dye a chunk of it reddish/brown in the front, i found some dye in the bathroom. let's see how that goes.

I also need to finish sewing a plush i'm sewing. It's turning out REALLY cute. so look out for that.

whatelseee... thats all. I want some new glasses. i might put that on the good ol' visa too.

I'm pretty annoyed with my english teacher, no matter how hard i try to write an essay to her standards, bitch always gives me a C- or a C. Whatever, i guess i'll just have to be fine with that grade.

No class on thursday, i'm going to use part of it to sign up for summer classes. I'm going to miss the break of summer but I'm almost done with my academics so i need that semester to catch up.

Life seems to really be passing me by lately, my weeks are so full that on the weekends i'm either sleeping all day or doing some mindless task to keep me busy. I think i'm going to start working out again to keep me active, i used to do so much walking downtown that I didn't need to exercise, but now i just drive my car everywhere.

I'm trying to get back into design, i haven't made any graphics since december. Sunday is the artist pick up at tates, i have to go in and pick up my munny since i didn't want to sell it. It's also a vinyl toy trading party, so that might be interesting. anyway later.
